Amanda started this business at 17 years old. She always knew that she was passionate about teaching, but she did not know where she would go with it. She posted an advertisement on Kijiji for tutoring and got her first client in 2003. She found that she really enjoyed working one on one with students and helping them excel with their academics, and knew that she had found her passion and niche. During her undergraduate program, she continued to tutor and hired two other tutors to help her. In 2013, Amanda launched her first educational center at Jane and Langstaff in Woodbridge, ON. Shortly after, she relocated to west end Woodbridge and had a facility there until March 2020. After covid hit, Amanda was forced to shut down her educational center but she continues to provide in-home tutoring services in Woodbridge and virtual services across Ontario. She tutors full time while also managing the business, which has grown to include 15 tutors and over 300 clients to date.
